HATs Membership & Route Terms — 19 September 2026

K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD, company registration number HE413011, trading as Horizon Rider, operates Horizon Adventure Trails (HATs), the route and membership service described in this document. HATs is not a separate legal entity. K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD is the contracting entity and data controller.

These terms govern HATs membership and use of HATs route information and GPX files. By registering, you agree to them with K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD, trading as Horizon Rider.

1. Membership

V1 HATs membership is free and runs for 365 days from activation following email verification. Everyone who registers during v1 is designated a HATs Founder Member. Founder Member status is permanent, but it does not guarantee that HATs membership, renewals or services will always remain free.

2. Personal-use licence

K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD, trading as Horizon Rider, grants an active member a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use HATs routes and GPX files for that member’s personal riding and navigation. They must not be commercially redistributed, resold, republished or made available as another product or service.

3. Route information, access and changing conditions

HATs routes and GPX files are navigation information. They do not guarantee that any route remains safe, legal, open or passable. Conditions and access may change at any time because of weather, fire, landslides, forestry work, construction, closures, land restrictions or other circumstances.

You must obey signs, closures, instructions from authorities and all lawful access restrictions, even where these conflict with a HATs route or GPX file.

4. Adventure-riding risk and rider responsibility

Adventure and off-road motorcycling involve inherent risks, including serious injury, death and damage to property. You remain responsible for assessing your own ability, health, motorcycle, equipment, route, obstacles and current conditions. Route difficulty can change significantly with weather, surface damage, traffic, visibility and other conditions.

5. GPS and GPX limitations

GPS devices, software and GPX or other navigation information may contain inaccuracies, be incomplete, lose signal or fail. Never follow navigation information blindly where conditions, signs, closures, authorities or lawful access indicate otherwise.

6. Route changes and current packs

K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD, trading as Horizon Rider, may amend, reroute, suspend or withdraw HATs routes at any time. Members should download the latest complete HATs GPX pack before each ride and should not assume an older copy remains current.

7. Service availability

K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous availability of the HATs website, member account, route information or downloads. Access may be suspended for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD, trading as Horizon Rider, is not responsible for losses caused by a rider’s decision to proceed despite actual conditions, signs, closures, legal restrictions or information available at the route, or by reliance on outdated, inaccurate or failed navigation information. To the extent permitted by law, K.M. CUNNING PLAN CONSULTING LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Each rider remains responsible for deciding whether, where and how to ride.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction, subject always to any mandatory consumer protection rights or jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
